Airport Transfer Routes

A route transfer is a pre-booked, door-to-terminal journey between a named town and a named airport. Because the distance is known in advance, the fare can be fixed at the point of booking rather than metered on the day. That matters on an airport run more than on a local trip: traffic is the one thing nobody controls, and a metered fare passes that risk to you while a fixed fare does not.

The quoted price covers the drive, the airport drop-off or pickup charge, luggage handling and waiting time. Child seats are fitted free when you ask for them in advance, and wheelchair-accessible vehicles carry no surcharge. What you are quoted when you book is what you pay.

For arrivals we track your inbound flight and set the pickup against the actual landing time, not the scheduled one, with free waiting time afterwards for immigration and baggage reclaim. A delayed flight is our problem to absorb rather than an extra charge on your booking.

Size the vehicle to the luggage rather than the headcount. Four passengers each with a large case and hand luggage will not travel comfortably in a saloon, and it is a common cause of problems at the door on the morning of a flight. Tell us the number of cases when you book and we will allocate accordingly at no extra cost.

On longer routes — the Midlands runs to Luton and Stansted in particular — a single larger vehicle is usually both cheaper and simpler than two smaller ones, and it keeps the group together rather than travelling in convoy.

Book at least 24 hours ahead for daytime travel and 48 hours for departures before 6am, which are the busiest pickups of the day at both Luton and Stansted. Accessible vehicles and 8-seaters should be booked earlier still, as both are a limited part of any fleet.
